I went to Wally’s yesterday because had no back lights or brake light on drivers side Which just randomly happened to me. I took my car to Wahl Automotive for a state inspection based on strong recommendations. Unfortunately, my experience did not live up to the praise. Within 10 minutes of dropping off my car, I was told it failed inspection due to a crack in the passenger side of the windshield. According to Pennsylvania state inspection guidelines, windshield damage must obstruct the driver’s line of sight to warrant failure — this was clearly not the case here. The crack in my windshield does not affect visibility or safety on the driver’s side, which makes this decision seem either uninformed or overly strict. Really excellent service. We needed a new catalytic converter on our camry. Wahl’s replaced it for us at a fraction of the cost. Very much appreciated and the car is now running smoothly and able to go up the steepest hills in Pittsburgh!
